Don’t expect Rambo 5 to a bloodbath like in the previous film: Sylvester Stallone said not so long ago that they would tame it down a bit so to reach a larger public


The fact that a Rambo 5 is under negotiation is nothing new. But it is nice to have a direct confirmation from Sylvester Stallone himself. He broke the news on Extra, an entertainment magazine owned by Warner Bros, that a Rambo V movie is indeed ahead:

“Yeah, we are doing another ‘Rambo’, but the conflict is whether to do it in America or a foreign country.” Sylvester Stallonne















The production of a Rambo 5 movie has been confirmed via variety. Nu Image/Millennium Films has indeed greenlit this new Rambo movie, the fifth in the franchise, and most probably the last one. Sylvester Stallone will starring and directing.

Filming should start in Spring 2010, so the release date of Rambo 5 is most likely early 2011, or December 2010.
