Columbia Pictures have announced that Director Len Wiseman (who directed the first two Underworld movies) will helm a reboot of Total Recall the cult 1990 movie that was starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Scriptwriter Kurt Wimmer (who wrote the script of Law Abiding Citizen) is in charge of the screenplay of this remake
. The film will be a new, contemporized adaptation of Total Recall, which was based on the story, "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale" by Philip K. Dick. A few words from Director Len Wiseman and Columbia Picture' Matt Tolmach about this new Total Recall movie:

The original Total Recall movie was a science-fiction action movie directed by Paul Verhoeven, it was released in 1990. The plot concerns an apparently unsophisticated construction worker, Douglas Quaid (Schwarzenegger), who turns out to be a freedom fighter from Mars who has been relocated to Earth, and his attempts to restore order, and reverse the corrupt influence of commercial powers.
