USA Today ran a story about Alvin and the Chipmunks 3: it sounds like Fox is looking for a new director. Anyway there’s something more interesting: the newspaper also claims Alvin and the Chipmunks 3 is expected to shoot in a seaside location, possibly Hawaii. Why on a seaside location? Well because the plot allegedly involves the chipmunks getting shipwrecked.
You may get ready for a new Alvin and the Chipmunks movie, and this time in 3D! 20th Fox Fox announced indeed that they’re greenlighting a new sequel that will be released on December 16, 2011.
