Tony Gilroy, who wrote the scripts of the first 3 Bourne movies, will not only write the sceenplay of Bourne 4, but he will also take over the director's seat! Fortunately this won't be his directorial debut, he already helmed two movies: Michael Clayton and Duplicity.
Now that you know Director Paul Greengrass isn't coming back, I guess you're wondering about Actor Matt Damon. Well Tony Gilroy recently talked about his vision for the Bourne Legacy movie:
"It's a completely original screenplay. This is not a reboot or a recast or a prequel. No one's replacing Matt Damon. There will be a whole new hero, a whole new chapter…this is a stand-alone project.
The easiest way to think of it is an expansion or a reveal…Jason Bourne will not be in this film, but he's very much alive. What happened in the first three films is the trigger for what happens. I’m building a legend and an environment and a wider conspiracy…the world we’re making enhances and advances and invites Jason Bourne's return."

Looks like Scriptwritter Tony Gilroy will also direct Bourne 4, aka the Bourne Legacy. And sadly, Actor Matt Damon won’t be part of the picture:

There have been talk about a possible Bourne 4 movie since quite a long. Back in 2009 it even announced that the next Bourne movie would actually be a prequel and the production should have start in 2010. But over neither Paul Greengrass nor Matt Damon have been much enthusiast about keeping the franchise alive... They even stated that the franchise could do fine without them (because they couldn't agree on a script with Universal according to the rumor), dashing hope of a Bourne 4 movie as a result.
But Director Paul Greengrass recently re-opened the door to a new Bourne movie:
"They need to make one. And I wish them nothing but success in the future and if they want me to be involved in some way then I will, if they want to do a prequel or whatever, but as far as I know nothing is decided and it's not my business."

THE FOURTH INSTALLMENT WOULD BE BETTER IF MATT DAMON WILL REPRISE HIS ROLE AS JASON BOURNE. LETS HOPE MATT WILL BE IN THIS FILM.
