The movie will follow Packer on a fateful day as his limousine trip to get a haircut from his preferred barber turns into a strange odyssey across Manhattan. Through a series of chance encounters with his wife (Marion Cotillard), strange individuals, and his own costly financial miscalculations, Packer begins to see his world of wealth and privilege in an entirely new and unpleasant light."
Actor Robert Pattinson got the lead role as Eric Packer in Cosmopolis, the upcoming movie adaptation of the novel of the same name by Don DeLillo. The novel is about a strange day in the life of a young billionaire. The film will be directed by David Cronenberg. Actress Marion Cotillard is also on board as Packer's wife. Filming of Cosmopolis will start end of May 2011 in Toronto,Canada.
