Actor Leonardo DiCaprio got the lead role as Dr H.H. Holmes in The Devil in the White City, an upcoming drama thriller movie based on the non-fiction book of the same name by Erik Larson. Set during the 1893 Chicago World's Fair, the film - which DiCaprio will also produce - focuses on fair architect Daniel H. Burnham and serial killer H.H. Holmes. The film should be released end of 2011.

This is a true story: Dr Henry Howard Holmes is one of the first documented American serial killers in the modern sense of the term.
