Actor Will Ferrell got the lead role in Everything Must Go, an upcoming comedy drama movie. The film is written and directed by Dan Rush. Besides Will Ferrell the film is also starring Rebecca Hall Laura Dern and Michael Pena. The film is set to premiere at TIFF, but there's no official release date yet.

PLOT:
"After sixteen years devising and presenting motivational speeches that promise certain success, optimistic sales executive Nick Porter (Will Ferrell) is abruptly fired. He returns home to discover his wife has left him, changed the locks on their suburban home and dumped all his possessions out on the front yard. Soon his car is repossessed, his bank account frozen, his beer stolen.
Confronting massive career implosion with wild anarchic humor and a rebel sense of self, Nick puts it all on the line - or more properly on the lawn. An absurdly escalating garage sale becomes a unique strategy for survival.
