back a third installment of the Ghostbusters franchise.

The screenplay Ghostbusters III is drafted by Scriptwriters Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg (from Office). Ivan Reitman, Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, and Dan Ackroyd are likely to reprise their roles, but rather as supporting characters. According to the rumor the new film would actually focus on a new crew of Ghostbusters who are mentored by the veteran fighters.
Ghosbusters 3 is likely to get released in 2011. Sigourney Weaver could be back too in the movie Ghostbuster 3.
