PLOT:
” Mick (Matthew McConaughey) is a slick, charismatic Los Angeles criminal defense attorney who operates out of the back of his Lincoln Continental sedan. Having spent most of his career defending petty, gutter-variety criminals, Mick unexpectedly lands the case of a lifetime: defending a rich Beverly Hills playboy (Ryan Phillippe) who is accused of attempted murder. However, what initially appears to be a straightforward case with a big money pay-off swiftly develops into a deadly match between two masters of manipulation and a crisis of conscience for Haller.”
Actor Matthew McConaughey got the lead role in the Lincoln Lawyer, an upcoming drama thriller movie directed by Brad Furman. 
“Mickey Haller (Matthew McConaughey) is a Los Angeles criminal defense attorney who operates out of the back of his Lincoln sedan. Haller has spent most of his career defending garden-variety criminals, until he lands the case of his career: defending Louis Roulet (Ryan Phillippe), a Beverly Hills playboy accused of rape and attempted murder. But the seemingly straightforward case suddenly develops into a deadly game of survival for Haller.”
Besides Matthew McConaughey and Ryan Phillippe, the film is also starring Marisa Tomei, William H. Macy, Josh Lucas, Laurence Mason, Frances Fisher, John Leguizamo, Michael Pena, Margarita Levieva, Bob Gunton, Reggie Baker, Mackenzie Aladjem, Michaela Conlin, Bryan Cranston, and Michael Pare. The Lincoln Lawyer will be released in theaters on March 18, 2011.
