"The lives of several couples and singles in New York intertwine over the course of New Year's Eve."





















The romantic comedy movie Valentine's Day in which a group of people from Los Angeles who navigate their way through romance and heartbreak all over the course of one Valentine's Day, was a real success. Actually Warner Bros was so confident that the film would be a hit that they greenlit a movie sequel to Valentine's Day even before the film was released. This sequel to Valentine's Day is titled New Year's Eve.




Director Garry Marshall is expected to return to helm the movie New Year's Eve based on a script by Katherine Fugate (she wrote the script of Valentine's Day). New Year's Eve will probably be starring a new ensemble of actors:

"It's supposed to be a similar cast of a number of stars. It's written like that, but we hope to get all new stars except for Hector Elizondo, who has to be in all my movies. So he's gonna play a guy you'll never recognize."

According to the rumor, the teen singer Justin Bieber could get a role!



The movie New year's Eve will start shooting in New York City in September 2010. The release date is set for December 9, 2011.
